2. Can MaD students take AP classes while enrolled in the Mad program?
All students at Kennedy have the same options for AP classes. Mad has cohorts for AP World History, AP English 11 and 12 as well as MaD electives with Honors. We also offer college articulated courses where students can earn college credits.

MaD students take cohorts English, History and Manufacturing elective classes (Engineering Design with Solidworks, Principles of Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing and Prototyping and Advance Innovation and Product Development)

5. Why is the MaD program not a criteria based program?
Our program receives a large amount of state and federal funding to help support our state-of-the-art facility. Unfortunately this funding restricts us from being a criteria based program. This in no way limits the quality of students who participate in the program with most being accepted to some of the top colleges and universities in the nation.
6. Does MaD offer scholarships for graduating students in the program?
For the last five years MaD has given out over $15,000 of in house scholarships to program graduates.
